NIGHTWATCH Field Investigators act solely on behalf of NIGHTWATCH—not the government or any outside organization. You are never required to answer follow-up questions, provide more personal information, pay a fee, or share account passwords. Verification confirms only NIGHTWATCH authorization; it does not independently establish the identity of the person presenting the code.
Important: An active code could be copied or misused by someone else. Do not rely on a code alone to authenticate an unexpected caller or message. Until NIGHTWATCH offers an independently confirmed callback channel, treat unsolicited contact with caution.
Anonymous witness submissions are open. A founding investigator credential has been issued, but official outreach and independent callback verification are not yet available.
